Thank you!!
Thank you to our loyal customers as well as new ones for turning out in spite of the weather. The rain held off long enough to view the calves and get the bidding done. The Mattocks family is blessed beyond belief to be able to raise cattle and work with awesome people. Thank you to the Rankins and Schmidts for the sale help. Thank you to all the bidders for your confidence in us. Thank you to my parents and my wife's parents. And above all, thank you God for the passion, ability, and resources to assemble a set of cattle and provide a great set of homes for them to go to.

Slider Steer
Slider x Salty Dog x Yellow Jacket
February Steer
Great design in this bigger steer. Ideal for an early summer fair.
Dakota Gold Steer
Dakota Gold x Sound Wave x Draft Pick
February Steer
There is a lot you could say about this one......from his huge bone to his huge butt. Super mobile and has the look of a great feeding one. Awesome color. A little reluctant to hair up this fall, but he was plenty fuzzy as a baby.
I Da Man Steer
I Da Man x Pb Shorthorn
March Shorthorn Plus Steer
This one would make a competitive breed steer for an Ohio family.
Blockbuster Bull
Blockbuster x Optimus Prime x Angus
March Bull
The Blockbusters have a great look to them, and this one doesn't disappoint. Great necked and smooth-shouldered, balanced, and sound. He is a complete package.
MAB Steer
MAB x Jazz x Maine
March Steer
This is the kind I would like to feed. Super sound and flexible all the way around. Great belly and shape. Hairing up faster than his contemporaries. (This group hasn't been under fans but a week and a half.)

Bandwagon Heifer
Bandwagon x Dream On x 3D
February Pb Simmental Heifer
Really nice Simmental heifer backed by a really consistent cow family.
Grizzly Bear Steer
Grizzly Bear x Rodman x Heat Wave
April Steer
Here is one that has all the pieces, but will most likely sell below the money. Sound, freak necked, good bellied, and ample muscle characterize this guy. Every year we sell a few that are a bit skinnier than the rest, yet they are super competitive the next fall. Study this one.

Killer Bee Steer
Killer Bee x Q-Dog
End of April Steer
Killer Bee was a 3/4 Maine Yellow Jacket son out of a red and white Draft Pick cow. Now imagine Yellow Jacket and Draft Pick back on a soft made, shaggy haired TH carrier cow and this one is all you can imagine. Huge hipped and loaded with muscle yet extremely sound. A tick coarser shouldered but big middled and show steer necked. He is not the most photogenic rascal, and I highly recommend seeing him in person. He won't dissapoint.
Set Me Free Heifer
Set Me Free x Monopoly x Tia
April Maintainer Heifer
Pay attention boys and girls. This one is super green and not real hairy, but I challenge you to find one more elegant fronted and so correct in her joints. She is flawless in her skeletal design. Plus she is backed by the Tia cow family. If you are new around here, Tia is the cow that put us on the map. She made a lot of high sellers, multiple champions, and left some pretty productive daughters. Her most notable achievement was making two full sisters that were both Supreme Female at the Pa Farm Show 10 years apart from each other. This female is designed like those two were. She may need additional time to develop, but watch out she is destined for greatness.
Monopoly Steer
Monopoly x Heat Seeker
March Steer
Super good lines in this slick-shear prospect. Perfect structurally and plenty attractive. Just add feed.
Blockbuster Heifer
Blockbuster x Hall of Fame (PB Angus)
April Heifer
It is really hard to photo cattle all by yourself, especially when you wash, clip and photo all at once. Not the best photo of this maternal bred female, but you take what you get. Ryan and I split a cane of Blockbuster last year, trying to make heifers. We got two bulls and this girl. Really cowy looking with a lot of productive years ahead of her.
Blockbuster Steer
Blockbuster x Ragin Cajun x Angus
April Steer
Really smooth and complete with plenty of look. He is a good feeding one for a late summer fair.
